My pen has been extended with the gate now along the side of the house so I have the whole back yard... Including the entire wood pile to chew on!! I thought I could see what was going on out front but as much as I called them, they seemed very busy and didn't want me walking around out front helping. It was certainly smelly on the last day, when a fellow put on a "top coat".
Front finally finished. |
They've been pacing in straight lines again, so I'm not sure what project they're cooking up next. Last time they did that they dug the hole and filled it in with concrete. Who can keep up with these crazy humans?
I've been working hard at my puppy commands. Heel, heel, heel, that's all I hear these days. I've got smells wafting into my nose from someplace ahead of us, curling into my nose like a hook pulling me towards them... making my nose almost ticklish in it's desire to hurry to get there to discover what the smell is associated with, and they want me to walk at their side demurely. Gheesh... However, as soon as the lead is off, I'm allowed to race around like a lunatic and smell them all so I guess it's not so bad.
School has them getting me to heel, sit, laying down, play recall, and stay, and a bunch of turning. All this when there are around 30 or more dogs on the field makes it very hard to concentrate.
Hmmm, better get off the computer, I think they're coming in from outside.
Woof Arf Bark. Elwood.
